Our Grants Program is by invitation only.
Please note we are not currently accepting letters at this time as our 2016 Cycle is closed.
The 2017 Grant Cycle will open on January 1, 2017. You may submit your 1 page introduction letter on or after January 1st to Mr. Shirish Dayal, Executive Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. Letters received before January 1st, 2017 will not be accepted.
We recognize how valuable your time is, and we understand the time commitment involved in completing a grant application. As a result, the Tarsadia Foundation has worked to make the grant application process as streamlined and informative as possible to assist you in your search for funding.
Grant proposals are reviewed once a year in the all.
The application process consists of the following components:
- 1 pg. Introductory Letter
- Grant Proposal
- Grant Decision
- Progress Report
- Final Report
1 pg. Introductory Letter
Although our Grants Program is by invite only, you may provide a 1 pg. letter expressing your organization’s interest in applying for a grant. Please note you will only receive a notification if the respective Committee selects your organization as an invitee. Letters in PDF or a Word format can be addressed to the Tarsadia Foundation and submitted by email to Mr. Shirish Dayal by the submission deadline. Please note we are not accepting letters until January 1st, 2017.
After the letter has been submitted to the Foundation, it will be reviewed to determine eligibility for our grant program as outlined in the Grant Guidelines section. Organizations that meet our eligibility requirements will then be invited to submit a full grant application. The application form can only be accessed through our Online Grant Portal upon approval of the letter. The application form contains several questions and a request for organizational, financial, and governance documents.
A complete Grant Proposal includes the application form and all of the supplemental attachments requested. The proposal is submitted electronically through our Online Grant Portal to the Foundation, and can be viewed by the applicant at any time during the grant process by logging onto the Online Grant System.
Applications are reviewed and grant recipients are selected once a year in the fall. Decision notifications are sent between August to September.
Upon receiving a grant award, applicants are required to complete a progress report after the first initial six months AND a final report within 60 days after the completion of the project or program, or 60 days after the end of the grant period. The reports can be found in our Online Grant System, which is accessible through our website.
